Why make both? Well, my friend, I have small children, and as much as I'd love to have pretty things on my table, that's just a recipe for disaster. So I made a wall-hanging instead. I do realize, however, that many quilters don't have small kids at home, so I also made it a table runner. You get two patterns in one!
